I present my interpretation of Roiben from Tithe by Holly Black. I had loads of fun drawing this. This illustration was a lot easier for me to draw. I leaned heavily into line work, which is a bit of a comfort zone for me. But it felt sooo good to do. I like rendering but I never really get it to my exact liking, lol. ╰(ಥдಥ)ノ I might be doing a few more pieces like this. I was really inspired by Emma Ríos work in Pretty Deadly. Her work was stunning there. There's also another comic I'd like to pick up called Helen of Wyndhorn, the art there also looks breathtaking. I've fallen back into the comic hole lol. _(┐「ε:)_ Oh well~ Anyways, I really had fun doing the feathers and hair. He looks so fab! ;D (Another thing to note, I used another photo reference from Adorka Stock, they've really helped me out with fun/ interesting poses.)

Last week was a rather busy week. So much to get done! On Wednesday, we went out to an 80s cover show. It was a lot fun! We also got to talk to the singer briefly & he gave us a few fun updates. Other than that it's been a lot of errands. I also realized it's a lot of work to simultaneously write three writing writing projects. I can't do all three and hit the deadline. TAT So, I'm going to take a break from the weekly prompts and work on the SilverV week stuff until all seven prompts are completed. And then, I'll have finally completed a body of work! Whoot! ヽ(•‿•)ノ

I also finished reading both Sabriel and Prisoner's Throne! Sabriel was really enjoyable but the ending was so abrupt lol. Like it's still good I just didn't expect it to end there. Prisoner's Throne was also enjoyable. I finished it so quickly. It was so nice to return to the Faerie realm and read about familiar characters. Now I'm reading the first book in The Witcher series. Pretty good thus far!

The picture is lovely! I seem to remember getting Tithe for myself a veeeery long time ago, probably close to when it came out, but I don't think I ever read it!

Yeah Tithe came out a long while back. Ah I see, lol. I found it a fun read, it's an urban fantasy and a little edgy lol.

Tithe would have been so very much my thing back when I picked it up, and I'm not sure why I never read it. (Then again, my mom tried for yeeeears to get me to read Sabriel, and I never picked it up either!) Sabriel and its sequels are still on my TBR list, hopefully eventually! If I manage to find my copy of Tithe when I go through my old books, I'll probably pull it out too.

I feel you there are some books where I'm like why haven't I read this sooner it's very much up my alley lol. I'm sure you'll get to it at some point. ^_^

I love your choice of colors here. It's like monochrome but with a splash of tomato red.

Yeah, I wanted the tomato red (I like that description lol) to serve as a contrast against all the cool colors. Make it pop!
