Le Cirque des Rêves

This was another time consuming piece I was working on last month. Drew Lula & I enjoying some afternoon tea. (More like our models did lol.) I loved drawing and designing their outfits for this piece, that was a lot of fun. Drawing two people in this illustration didn't feel so difficult since I previously drew five, so I felt pretty accomplished with that. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ What really ate into my time with this piece were all the teacups and desserts, lol. That took a while. A long while. ´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ ` But I did it because I had a had vision & I was too stubborn. The background to this piece also took a while but it's mostly because I was playing around with brushes and trying to make it look cohesive. I think it turned out alright for now. Definitely need to make improvements in that area. But for now, it is what it & I'm pretty content with it. I still feel like I made a lot of progress.

I made this piece as a result of a conversation Lula & I had. We both enjoy Lolita fashion and we both give My Melody & Kuromi vibes when paired up. She's such a sweetheart! I'm so glad I'm getting to know some pretty cool folks. I gave a few more ideas similar to this lined up. (More like I wrote it in a list so that I can remind myself to draw it in the near future lol.) ໒(⊙ᴗ⊙)७✎▤
