Fanciful Friday
Mar. 22nd, 2024 11:53 pmThis week has been creatively fruitful. (✪‿✪)ノ I made more progress on chapter seven, I'm still not sure if I'll be able to complete it by Wednesday. I'm a bit of a slow writer and I want this chapter to be good so if comes down to it I'll probably delay the upload date just so that I can convey it properly. (ง •̀_•́)ง I also realized I gotta outline the events that take place in chapter eight, it's a bit more action heavy and it's going to be more fast paced so I want to make sure I map it out right. These two chapters are definitely going to challenge me but in a fun way. I get to experiment and write something new.
I hope I can finish the band piece by next week as well. I feel like I'm a little more than halfway there. I'm mostly working on the background and other miscellaneous details. I like how it's turning out thus far. It's been fun playing with the colors and making things seem tactile. Definitely looking forward to working on easier pieces after this, lol. At least until the next time I decide to challenge myself. ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )ᕗ
I also have plans on improving certain elements on my streams. (Particularly the scene overlays.) I want to draw like a backstage room type setting. I mind-mapped certain elements I want to include in the room. I'm going to thumbnail a few designs and practice drawing potential items. I want my just chatting screen to seem a bit more lively. I'm not really good at drawing rooms but that's not going to stop me. ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ I also want to illustrate better transition screens, might need to brainstorm a few ideas for those and see which of them is feasible with my current skill set. So much I want to draw but not enough hours in the day, lol.
I'm almost done reading 36 Streets! Only a few more days left! TAT I've also been grinding on Genshin, I really want to get Arlecchino. The current potions event has been pretty fun & relaxing to do. I quite like it.
